We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Solutions Engineer with expertise in the education industry to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to blend technical skills with client-facing engagements to impact how our software empowers educators and students worldwide. This position will report to the VP of Global Sales.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct engaging and customized product demonstrations and presentations to both prospective and current customers, with a focus on educational institutions, addressing their specific goals and pain points.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients by understanding and analyzing their unique requirements and challenges within the education sector.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and leverage opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to educational partners.
  • Design, configure, and maintain demonstration environments that reflect relevant use cases for the education market, ensuring they showcase the value of our platform.
  • Provide hands-on enablement and training to new Sales Account Executives and other internal stakeholders, focusing on product knowledge and effective demonstration techniques.
  • Act as a vital liaison between Product Management, Product Marketing, and the Sales team to ensure smooth communication and efficient feedback loops.
  • Stay informed about new product features and releases, ensuring the sales team is well-equipped to demo and articulate the value of these features through organized training sessions and resources.
  • Build and execute a comprehensive product enablement plan that serves as an ongoing resource for the entire company.
  • Respond to front-line technical questions and develop supporting documentation to empower the sales and support teams.
  • Regularly host product webinars (ideally on a weekly basis) to engage and inform our educational user base, highlighting best practices and new capabilities.
  • Represent WeVideo at industry conferences and events, delivering impactful presentations and co-presenting with clients when appropriate.
  • Proactively understand the evolving needs of different verticals, particularly within education, and adapt solutions to address these needs effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a technical pre-sales or solutions engineering role, ideally within the education technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the education industry, with the ability to speak the language of educators and administrators.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into accessible and compelling stories for educational audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain technical demonstration environments tailored to education use cases.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple departments, with a knack for building relationships and influencing outcomes.
  • Technical proficiency with relevant software platforms and an eagerness to stay current on emerging technologies in the education space.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences, client meetings, and events as needed.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000
