Marketing Manager, Events

WeVideo is the leading full-cycle video learning platform for content creators, businesses of all sizes, and educational institutions. We have a current opening for a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to take full ownership of all in-person and online events across our K-12, Higher Education, and Business verticals. This person will report to our Sr. Director of Demand Generation. This role will lead event strategy, planning, execution, and post-event marketing for all conferences, trade shows, webinars, and workshops. You will ensure all event activities drive audience engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation. Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in cross-team collaboration and event promotion to help position WeVideo as a leader in video creation and interactivity.

This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on marketer with event management experience, particularly in the SaaS or EdTech space, who can manage logistics, develop promotional strategies, and work cross-functionally to ensure seamless event execution.

In this role, you will:

  • In-Person Event Management
    • Event Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute event strategies for conferences, trade shows, and industry events across the K-12, Higher Education, and Business verticals, ensuring all logistics are seamlessly managed.
    • Event Storage & Logistics Coordination: Manage nearby storage for event materials, including booth setup, signage, and swag. Organize materials for shipment, ensuring correct items are sent to each event location. Must be able to lift and handle heavy boxes as needed.
    • Event Budgeting: Own and manage event budgets while maintaining cost efficiency.
    • Event Registration: Manage the entire registration process, including set-up, attendee tracking, and reporting.
    • In-Person Event Execution: Oversee event logistics, including booth design, swag selection, branding, shipping, lead collection, and on-site support for contests or engagement activities.
    • Vendor & Partner Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors, exhibitors, and partners, ensuring successful collaboration and event participation.
    • Event Logistics: Manage event checklists, booth designs, swag selection, branding, shipping, and on-site activities such as contests and lead collection.
    • Post-Event Reporting: Analyze event performance, including lead quality, ROI, and engagement levels, and report insights for future event optimization.
  • Online Event & Webinar Management
    • Webinar Program Management: Own the strategy, planning, and execution of WeVideo’s webinar program, including product demos, thought leadership, and virtual events.
    • Webinar Logistics: Manage all logistics, including registration pages, attendee tracking, email invitations, follow-ups, and post-webinar communications.
    • Online Event Recording Management: Manage the recording and archiving of online events for further use, repurposing, or gated content.
    • Speaker Recruitment & Management: Identify, recruit, and manage speakers for both in-person and online events, ensuring they are briefed and prepared for successful presentations.
  • Event Marketing & Promotion
    • Event Marketing Emails: Own email workflows for event invitations, reminders, and post-event follow-ups.
    • Social Media Promotion: Coordinate social media campaigns that highlight upcoming events and webinars.
    • Event Swag & Customer Swag Requests: Manage the design, procurement, and distribution of event-related swag for events and customer requests.
    • Event Landing Pages: Build and maintain landing pages for event registration, ensuring optimized user experience and branding consistency.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
    • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams to align event goals, leads, and post-event follow-up, working closely with Marketing Ops on reporting and analysis.
    • Event ROI & Metrics: Collaborate with Marketing Ops, which will own event reporting and analysis to ensure key metrics like registration numbers, attendance rates, lead quality, and ROI are tracked accurately. Support insights that drive lead funnel optimization and future event strategy.
    • Master Event Calendar: Own and maintain the master calendar for all in-person and online events, ensuring the team has visibility into all key dates and timelines.
    • Gated Content in Resource Center: Manage the distribution of post-event recordings and gated content in WeVideo’s resource center, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience, ideally in EdTech, SaaS, or education sectors.
  • Experience managing events and webinars.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift and handle event materials (up to 120 pounds) and coordinate shipping logistics.
  • Familiarity with email marketing, social media promotion, and event management best practices.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with teams like Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Experience working with marketing tools and webinar hosting platforms.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and the ability to analyze event performance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience working in the education technology sector or familiarity with K-12, higher ed, and corporate learning environments.
  • Experience working with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Ability to develop creative event-based marketing strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Experience working with external vendors, exhibitors, and partners to ensure seamless event execution.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $90,000
