Transnetyx is seeking a part-time contract Multimedia/Marketing Designer. *This role is U.S. based only, 25 hours a week, and must be available during core business hours/days. You will use various tools and technologies to create content that combines different mediums: text, audio, images, animations, video, and interactive elements to tell compelling marketing stories. You will work closely with the Product Marketer and the VP of Product Marketing & Design to develop visual concepts highlighting our products, services, and events.
By designing with a human-centered lens, incorporating design principles and industry knowledge, you’ll develop a deep understanding of our customers and create stunning artifacts supporting our go-to-market strategies across Transnetyx's omnichannel platforms and experiences. Your keen eye for design and the ability to translate technical details into visually appealing and engaging content will elevate our image. The Role (Essential Functions and Duties)
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Design various marketing collateral, including digital and print assets such as flyers, posters, brochures, landing pages, infographics, presentations, social media content, email templates, web banners, etc.
- Craft accessible and inclusive multimodal and interactive elements such as videos and animations for cross-channel technology, including digital signage, desktop/laptop, tablet, mobile devices, and kiosks.
- Design internal branding kit, including stationary, letterheads, slide templates, and business cards.
- Create internal and external branded merchandise “SWAG” and maintain vendor relationships.
- Establish a strong visual aesthetic combining brand expression, creativity, and design skills to help YX improve its perception and visibility, increase reach, and facilitate growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design team to develop creative concepts and design solutions that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to brand, style, and tone guidelines across all marketing materials.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
- Provide creative input and support for marketing initiatives, events, and promotions.
- Maintain online document libraries, asset/content repositories, forms, leads, and user contact lists.
- Perform other technical and creative design duties as assigned.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING (Qualifications)
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED with a relevant technical certification.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Graphics or Multimedia Design, or related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating creative and technical skills.
EXPERIENCE:
- Two or more years of multimedia, graphic, and visual design experience with solid content, asset, and program management skills.
- Knowledge of UX/product design, service design, or web design with essential HTML/CSS is a plus.
SOFTWARE/TOOLS:
- Productivity: Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Project Management: Jira/Confluence, Wrike, Monday, Trello, Asana, Formstack, HappyFox.
- Sales/Marketing: Salesforce, HubSpot, Survey Monkey, CMS.
- Design: Figma/Figjam, Sketch/Invision, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other design tools.
Additional Skills/ Competencies:
- Must understand marketing and design principles, product life cycle, and market techniques.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and third parties to ensure quality customer service.
- Must possess outstanding communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural customer setting.
- Must have the ability to proactively address issues in a quick, creative, and innovative manner.
- Must be analytical yet creative, attentive to detail, and able to prioritize and multi-task using strong time management and organizational skills.
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, including incredible personal drive, motivation, discipline, initiative, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands:
This position may experience prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Other physical demands may include but are not limited to walking, standing, stooping, and reaching. And may lift up to 15lbs at times.
