Transnetyx is seeking a full-time remote Software Sales Manager to join our growing Sales Team! You are responsible for developing and servicing new and existing research industry in a professional, ethical, and persuasive manner by building relationships with key decision-makers to increase sales. This will be accomplished through sales calls, presentations, and external customer visits. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Colony/AMI implementation team along with Diagnostic Sales and Operation functions to execute account-based selling strategies and pull through the business. The Role

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Identifies, promotes, and develops new business prospects within Transnetyx by educating potential customers on our Colony/AMI services through presentations, webinars, demonstrating our service and distributing sales and marketing materials.
  • Researches, gathers, and evaluates information on both the market and needs, trends, and requirements of current and potential customers in order to determine scale of opportunity and sales strategy within territory.
  • Assists and moves customer from free trial phase to repeat, paying customers.
  • Maintains and services existing customers within territory; including servicing as a liaison between customer and company in order to address customer complaints, issues, inquires and negotiating and reviewing, updating, and changing sales agreements as needed.
  • Maintains and improves sales effectiveness by remaining current on technical and scientific information related to Transnetyx Colony/AMI products and services, by recommending and assisting in the development of new sales and marketing tools and strategies, and by remaining up-to-date on new and existing competitor services, pricing, and sales strategies.
  • Staffs appropriate trade exhibitions, shows and marketing events and conferences.
  • Follows-up with customers throughout onboarding process and post-order to resolve issues, drive loyalty, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participates in sales training as established by BUL. Attend bimonthly Sales Calls and annual International Sales Meeting.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Life Sciences, related IT, or related field of study preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years’ experience in software sales desired.
  • Experience selling in Life Science field and/or laboratory setting preferred.
  • Knowledge regarding the changing tides of research field highly beneficial.

Additional Skills/ Competencies:

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have the ability to work independently while remaining approachable and service-oriented.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and third parties in order to ensure quality customer service.
  • Must possess outstanding communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and customer service skills and have the ability to communicate effectively in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural customer setting
  • Must have the ability to proactively address issues in a quick, creative, and innovative manner.
  • Must be outgoing, flexible, adaptable, and energetic.
  • Must be analytical, be attentive to detail, and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task using strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate a strong work ethic including great personal drive, motivation, discipline, and initiative; including the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
