Description

Transnetyx is seeking a full-time Product Marketer to join our growing Marketing Team! You will work at the intersection of sales, marketing, product, and design. You will work closely with the CEO and VP of Product Marketing & Design to develop and implement marketing strategies for various products in the Transnetyx Suite of Services to creatively communicate the value of our products to customers, prospects, and internal audiences.

As a Product Marketer, you will lead with empathy and use industry knowledge and a deep understanding of our customers to turn technical details, value propositions, and call-to-actions into compelling messaging that drives adoption and engagement. You'll oversee the go-to-market strategy and communications plan across Transnetyx's omnichannel platforms and experiences, including key message development, print and digital collateral creation, email and social media campaigns and automation, and internal and external communications support. You'll also model Transnetyx's YX Ten+ core values, mission, and vision.

The Role

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:

MARKETING:

  • Develop novel, fun, and powerful campaigns to build awareness, educate, and convert prospects into sales. This includes managing all marketing collateral, creating and updating content, graphics, videos, and case studies, and managing communication channels, including email, newsletters, social media, digital advertising, webinars, etc.
  • Utilize exceptional storytelling skills to craft value propositions and convey the benefits and features to a broad audience, with a focus on growing awareness of our products and services.
  • Analyze the performance and effectiveness of their various go-to-market activities, calculate the ROI, optimize, target, and select the ideal channels and mediums for the growth of the product.
  • Improve company marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities. Stay on top of industry trends and company initiatives to identify areas where marketing is needed and develop a plan to meet those needs.
  • Assist with developing and communicating YX’s overall brand style, tone, guidelines, and strategy.
  • Organize and lead related marketing and communications initiatives, including developing roadmaps, timelines, and processes and tracking project progress with PMO support.

SALES:

  • Develop and launch lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns to build a sales pipeline that meets business plans, quotas, and company objectives.
  • Forecasts, measures, analyzes, and reports on the impact of marketing activities in the product funnel, projected business growth, revenue, and sales cycle length, including analyzing target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
  • Supports sales team by developing and conceptualizing new sales and marketing ideas and tools, maintaining and distributing sales and marketing material, and analyzing, evaluating, summarizing, and reporting on data and trends.
  • Assist product owners with training the sales teams to articulate the products' benefits to prospects.

PRODUCT:

  • Work with UX and Product Teams to develop user and buyer personas to translate the product’s strategic objectives into a message that resonates with its intended user(s).
  • Research the market to learn the competitive environment and look for opportunities to capitalize on trends or voids in the market.
  • Collaborate to determine jobs to be done and then identify and explain how the product can fix a series of issues or make a customer’s journey more efficient.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

EDUCATION:

  • Associate degree with a relevant technical certification.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Product Management, or related fields is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Three or more years of marketing and communications experience with strong design skills.
  • A background in science (chemistry, biology, engineering, etc.) is a plus.

SOFTWARE/TOOLS:

  • Productivity: Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Data/Leads Management: PowerBi, Mixpanel, Google Analytics.
  • Project Management: Jira/Confluence, Wrike, Monday, Trello, Asana, Formstack, HappyFox.
  • Sales/Marketing: Salesforce, HubSpot, Survey Monkey, CMS.
  • Design: Figma/Figjam, Sketch/Invision, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other design tools.

Additional Skills/ Competencies:

  • Must have a strong understanding of marketing and design principles, product life cycle, and market research techniques.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and third parties to ensure quality customer service.
  • Must possess outstanding communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural customer setting.
  • Must have the ability to proactively address issues in a quick, creative, and innovative manner.
  • Must be outgoing, flexible, adaptable, and energetic.
  • Must be analytical yet creative and attentive to detail, and able to prioritize and multi-task using strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, including great personal drive, motivation, discipline, and initiative, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • This position may require up to 25% travel to customer sights, locations, and YX marketing events.

Physical Demands:

This position may experience prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Other physical demands may include but are not limited to walking, standing, stooping, and reaching. And may lift up to 15lbs at times.
