Transnetyx is seeking a full-time remote Regional Account Manager in Europe. You are responsible for automated genotyping sales and Colony software growth and adoption, lead management and pull-through. Qualify accounts for up-and-cross selling opportunities for Regional Sales Management team. Work closely with and triage current customers and lead inquiries with Customer Success, Genetic Resolutions, Field Sales, and Colony software support teams. Serve academic research partners and laboratories in a professional, ethical, and persuasive manner to increase sales within allotted territory. Models the YX Ten+ core values, mission, and vision of Transnetyx.

Our ideal team member is based in one of our preferred European countries which includes Denmark, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Belgium among others. You will support our European customers in several target regions, France, Germany and Scandinavia. The most successful team member will have experience working directly with customers in Life Science, you have a strong knowledge of research laboratories and small animal models research and may have even worked in a lab at some point. You are multilingual. Including fluency in English, French is a strong preference and German is a close second to French.

The Role

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Onboards inbound genotyping leads and engages new prospects via outbound sales calls and emails.
  • Maintains and services new genotyping customers from registration through their seventh paid order.
  • Offers support for ongoing sales administrative tasks to assist customer needs such as account set up, logistics, and follow up.
  • Where applicable, qualifies genotyping accounts for adoption of Colony management software; supports registration through two months of full functionality. Acts as diagnostic sales liaison for tick@lab software sales.
  • Where applicable, responsible for execution of Colony software five fundamentals.
  • Initiates discovery phase with prospect leads to uncover initial needs and begin developing deeper fact base on decision-maker(s), # of cages, current costs / genotyping model, and needs / pain points.
  • Utilizes salesforce to capture all customer profiling information and logs all call activity, with expected call expectations of 5-7 per day.
  • Pulls through genotyping leads from vendor and national shows, customer meetings and presentations, marketing initiatives, and other lead sources from interest to adoption.
  • Qualifies leads and engages Regional Sales Manager for qualified diagnostic sales opportunities.
  • Triages technical inquiries and complaints surfaced during engagement and conducts warm hand off to appropriate Transnetyx support teams.
  • Attends Sales Call, Weekly Company-Wide Call/Meeting, Annual Sales Meeting, and Sales Training.
  • Attends vendor shows, as needed. May require minimal travel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field of study preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have at least 2-5 years’ experience in sales.
  • Experience selling in Life Science field and laboratory setting preferred and highly beneficial.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Develops materials/insights to achieve the objective.
  • Prepares for each call, anticipating and addressing any barriers.

  • Documents and validates customer needs prior to presenting.
  • Determines how Transnetyx offerings best meet customer needs.
