Job Description
The Recruiting Specialist position is primarily responsible for identifying and screening candidates for open positions within the Company. The individual will also work directly with hiring managers to determine the minimum criteria and requirements for a given position and leverage job boards and career pages to establish long-term talent pipelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Source candidates using job boards, social media, and/or networking events
  • Work with the Marketing and Finance teams to advertise job listings
  • Establish talent pipelines to assist with consistent and quality talent acquisition
  • Schedule and conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, relevant skills and experience
  • Facilitate and evaluate basic aptitude tests
  • Work closely with hiring managers and HR to align offer expectations based on position
  • Develop new and enhance existing job descriptions as roles evolve
  • Analyze employee retention per talent pipeline

  • General knowledge of talent acquisition best practices
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

  • Manage multiple projects/tasks at one time

  • Accurate reporting skills

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant experience is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a recruiting role
  • Proficiency with career sites and job boards

Environmental Conditions

Indoor climate-controlled environment.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to

communicate verbally and in the written form. The employee is physically required to utilize a laptop and other electronic devices effectively. The employee must lift and/or move up to 20 pounds (laptop computer, bag, and accessories). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
