Job Brief:
Moxie Labs is seeking a high-caliber, strategy-focused Digital Marketing Director to lead the strategy and execution of multi-channel digital marketing initiatives for our marketing clients, primarily in the healthcare and marketing space. This is a "player-coach" role designed for a leader who can navigate complex client relationships, architect high-level growth strategies, and dive deep into technical implementation—specifically within CRM and data-rich ecosystems.
The ideal candidate has a sophisticated understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare landscape and thrives in an agency environment. They are passionate about the changes, efficiencies, and new challenges AI brings to digital and healthcare marketing. They aren't just a high-level talker; you are an architect who can draw the blueprint and then help lay the bricks. You will be responsible for integrating digital advertising, CRM automation, and product analytics into a cohesive engine that drives ROI for our clients. You seamlessly transition between talking marketing strategy, sales enablement, data best practices, and digital marketing automation/operations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary strategic partner for clients, translating business objectives into comprehensive digital roadmaps that integrate media, CRM, and product experience.
- Lead the strategy and implementation of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Veeva) to ensure seamless lead management, patient journeys, and data flow.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for key accounts, confidently presenting complex strategies to stakeholders and navigating the nuances of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment.
- Align the work of the execution team (Ads/Analytics) with broader CRM and lifecycle marketing efforts to ensure a unified customer experience.
- Directly execute high-level tasks, including CRM workflow builds, advanced segmentation, and strategic audit reports.
- Define the "North Star" metrics for clients and oversee the development of sophisticated attribution models to demonstrate the value of cross-channel efforts.
- Ensure all digital strategies adhere to strict industry standards, including HIPAA, GDPR, and pharmaceutical MLR (Medical/Legal/Regulatory) review processes.
- Improve agency workflows between the marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure marketing tracking is baked into product development from day one.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership or Director-level role, ideally within an agency environment.
- Deep experience navigating the complexities of healthcare marketing, including an understanding of patient/HCP journeys and regulatory constraints.
- Proven track record of implementing and optimizing CRM platforms to drive retention and conversion.
- Ability to pivot from a Boardroom presentation mentality to platform-level troubleshooting without hesitation.
- Strong understanding of the "modern marketing stack," including how APIs, CRMs, and analytics platforms (GA4, GTM) interconnect.
- A natural ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical client stakeholders.
- Experience managing large-scale budgets and forecasting performance across diverse portfolios.
- A self-directed leader who identifies gaps in a client’s strategy before the client does and arrives with a documented solution.
- Proficiency in standard business tools (Google Workspace preferred over Microsoft).
Experience with the following is a Plus:
- Experience with Veeva Systems or other pharma-specific CRM/CLM tools.
- Deep knowledge of first-party data strategies in a cookieless environment.
- Background in Product Marketing or working alongside software engineering teams.
- Advanced certifications in Google Ads, Salesforce, Veeva Systems or HubSpot.
- Demonstrated experience integrating modern AI tools into comprehensive marketing solutions and workflows
