Software Engineer - IBM Systems

About the Role:
Are you a skilled developer with a passion for enterprise systems and mainframe technologies? Join our Engineering team as a Software Engineer - IBM Systems and help us build scalable, high-performance solutions on the z/OS platform.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement application logic and workflows on z/OS.
- Collaborate across teams to solve technical challenges and improve product quality.
- Conduct testing, support QA, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Present features to stakeholders and contribute to Agile planning.
- Continuously learn and deepen your expertise in Assembler and Cryptography.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related field.
- 4+ years in enterprise software development (preferably z/OS).
- Proficiency in C, Java, ISPF, IBM subsystems, and either REXX or Python.
- Experience with tools like VS Code, SMP/E, IDCAMS, and Language Environment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and JIRA.
