PKWARE is looking for a talented UI Engineer to join us in continuing to innovate and improve our software. We love to work with people who have a passion for software security, have a strong sense of ownership, and insatiable curiosity.

What you’ll work on

In this role, you’ll provide rapid response to requests for UI improvements. Working closely with our Professional Services and Customer Success teams, international engineering staff, and UX designers, you can expect to learn how to work in a rapid development process, using Git and collaborative PR reviewing to rapidly deliver solutions.

Tech Stack: Angular using TypeScript, with some legacy Sencha and a JVM backend.

Who should apply

Specifically, we’re looking for candidates with the following requirements:

Currently enrolled in a software engineering/computer science degree, with at least one academic year completed at the time you start your internship.

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Angular.
• Experience working with open-source projects is preferred.
• Based in Milwaukee, WI.
• Willingness to work independently with an all-remote team and manager.
• The candidate will be welcome to work from the PKWARE Milwaukee office though!
• This internship is not necessarily limited to summer. It could go into the school year. We understand and can be flexible with school scheduling.
