Pest Control Technician (Commercial) – Columbia, Maryland

Presto Pest Control is a leader in commercial pest control industry in the mid-Atlantic region.

We are seeking an experienced commercial Pest Control Technician for Columbia, MD and surrounding area. Pay is commensurate with experience.

  • are Certified Pesticide Applicator in MD (additional certification in DC and VA a plus)

  • don't mind very early hours (start early, finish early)
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • FieldRoutes mobile app experience a plus

Primary duties and requirements for this position include:

  • Perform pest control inspections and services for commercial accounts on a defined route. Complete all stops or reschedule within a specified time frame.
  • Apply pesticides according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions. Documentation must be detailed.
  • Perform exclusion work.
  • Respond to customer inquiries quickly and thoroughly via email, text or phone call.
  • Basic computer literacy required (smart phone, email, basic Excel).
  • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday. Your shift could start very early (before 5:00 AM). We do not schedule nights or weekends, but occasionally urgent customer requests require some flexibility.
  • Generate new business. Visit potential new customers and sign them up for service. We pay a generous bonus for bringing in new business.
  • Must pass a criminal background check & drug testing.
  • Must have a valid driver's license & pass driving history check.
  • Be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$25.00/hour
