We are hiring a Principal Technical Architect who will serve as the senior, trusted right-hand partner to our Chief Technology Officer and play a defining role in shaping our company’s future technical landscape. As senior individual contributor, you will operate with autonomy to influence and translate strategic priorities into executable architecture across AI, data, application integration and cloud infrastructure. Utilize your experience to help us modernize legacy foundations, integrate acquisitions, establish enterprise reporting and business intelligence capabilities, and responsibly bring AI into the core of how the business operates to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and evolution of the target state architecture across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and AI
  • Translate strategic direction into actionable architectural designs and roadmaps that enable delivery and balance security, scalability, cost, and speed
  • Design data and technical architectures that support AI enabled workflows and ensure data platforms and system integrations are ready to support AI capabilities
  • Lead hands-on post-merger acquisition integration by assessing acquired platforms, data, and infrastructure and defining pragmatic integration, modernization, or rationalization approaches
  • Define and evolve application integration patterns appropriate to the organization’s scale, including APIs, event driven architecture, and shared services
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to architect a cohesive enterprise reporting and business intelligence foundation by guiding data modeling, pipelines, and platform choices
  • Guide the evolution from in-house infrastructure to cloud-based platforms by designing architectures that balance security, resilience, cost, and operational simplicity
  • Mentor engineers and technicians on design decisions and trade-offs by coaching and hands-on engagement

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or related disciplines
  • 12+ years’ experience in senior‑level architectural ownership roles
  • Demonstrated success designing and delivering complex, integrated systems
  • Strong background in cloud platforms, application integrations, and data architecture
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making pragmatic tradeoffs
  • Experience integrating disparate system & data architectures in post-acquisition environments
  • Able to move easily between executive conversations and hands‑on technical work

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in computer science, engineering or related disciplines
