This role focuses on improving the quality, reliability, and automation of our internal data systems that power insights across the company. You will collaborate closely with the Content & Data, Custom Feed, and Tech teams—working on large data sets, recurring audits, and process automation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency. We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious about data, comfortable exploring and finding insights without needing constant guidance, and motivated to make our data processes smarter, faster, and more reliable.
Key Responsibilities
Data Auditing & Automation
• Run recurring data quality audits across large internal and external data sets.
• Identify and automate repetitive or manual data processes currently handled by internal teams.
• Streamline and optimize workflows for higher efficiency and accuracy.
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Pull, clean, and analyze large data sets from internal databases and external sources (e.g., App Store data).
• Investigate advertiser and product identifiers to uncover data inconsistencies or opportunities for automation.
• Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations that make complex data clear and actionable.
Data Management
• Understand and improve how data is stored, processed, and retrieved within internal systems.
• Ensure all outputs are accurate, consistent, and easily interpretable for internal stakeholders.
• Document key data processes, definitions, and logic for shared understanding across teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, data operations, or data engineering support roles.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming large data sets.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, large-scale data manipulation).
• Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a night-shift schedule overlapping U.S. hours.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Preferred Skills
• Experience using Python for automation, data cleaning, or analysis.
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, or data governance best practices.
• Ability to connect technical findings to business context and strategic goals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Self-starter who thrives with minimal direction and can prioritize effectively.
• Curious and analytical, eager to explore new data sets and uncover insights.
• Strategic thinker who understands how better data drives better decisions.
• Collaborative and detail-oriented, balancing precision with speed in execution
