Role Summary
The Technical Reporting Analyst will support our Complex Claims Recovery division and will develop, maintain, and distribute internal and client-facing reports using tools like Power BI and SSRS. This role collaborates closely with stakeholders across the organization including the Implementation, Business Analyst, and Product Owner to deliver accurate, insightful, and timely reporting based on product changes, client needs, and ad hoc requests.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI workspaces, dashboards, and paginated reports
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and KPIs
- Manage data connections and scheduled refreshes in Power BI Service
- Validate data accuracy between source systems and final reports.
- Support ad hoc reporting and data analysis needs related to recovery efforts
- Power BI
- Creating datasets, measures (DAX), and visuals
- Managing workspaces and permissions
- Power BI Service deployment and refresh schedules
- Power BI Paginated Reports
- SSRS
- Report development and deployment
- Parameterized reports
- Subscription and scheduling setup
- SQL Server
- Writing stored procedures, views, and queries
- Experience with large datasets and performance tuning
- Understanding of data modeling concepts (joins, normalization, etc.)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2–5 years of experience in a reporting/data analyst role
- Prior work in healthcare, insurance, or recovery is a big plus
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Operations, Product, Finance)
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
