Role Summary

As the Senior Cyber Security Analyst for Intellivo, you will help monitor systems, networks, and user for any and all suspicious activity and work closely with the Information Security Manager to implement new security solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Security System Management: Install, configure, and maintain security systems, such as firewalls, antimalware software, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM, with a focus on cloud security
  • Security Monitoring: Monitor systems, networks, and user activity for suspicious activity and threats, identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks
  • Security Incident Response: Investigate security incidents and potential security breaches, conduct forensic analysis, and provide incident response management and support
  • Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (HIPAA/HITRUST/ISO27001/SOC2), review and respond to security assessment requests
  • Security Policy Development: Create, implement, and update security policies and procedures in line with laws and regulations and according to industry best practices
  • Collaboration: Work with IT teams to design and implement security solutions. Provide advice and guidance to all departments, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Relevance: Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively address potential risks. Evaluate and recommend security technologies to enhance the organization's defenses. Gain personal knowledge and experience to enhance capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, other related IT field, or 5+ more years in dedicated Cyber Security roles, or combination of IT roles and Cyber Security roles of 5+ years
  • 3+ years of experience in senior cybersecurity analyst, administrator, information security engineer, manager, and/or specialist type roles focused on information security administration, incident response, penetration testing, vulnerability management, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Advanced incident response, red team/blue team, and/or forensic analysis skills desired.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong technical skills, accompanied by in-depth knowledge of technical protocols, security compliance frameworks, risk management, and information security assessments and audits
  • Proficient in security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, CASB, antivirus
  • Prefer highly certified with relevant advanced certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Security+)
