Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HR Manager to join our People team. We are looking for a motivated partner that is excited to roll up their sleeves by building strong relationships at all levels of the organization and has a passion for advancing people programs, processes, and systems.
Reporting to the VP, People Operations, this role will lead our HR/People Operations function supporting a core business line overseeing HR partnership, benefit strategy & administration, compliance, and workforce strategy. The HR Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting the company’s growth through strategic HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives and develop HR strategies aligned with overall company goals.
· Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues.
· Oversee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
· Collaborate with business leaders and broader People team to attract, assess, and onboard top talent.
· Promote a positive and connected company culture through various initiatives and open communication.
· Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and HIPAA.
· Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures in line with legal and industry requirements.
· Implement performance management processes and support managers in leadership development & coaching.
· Identify training needs and work with HR leadership to design and implement effective learning programs.
· Maintain industry leading practices to foster a best-in-class workforce.
· Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and professional development.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to lead program implementations and people related initiatives.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
· 5+ years of HR experience
· Strong experience overseeing company benefit plans & strategy.
· Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
· Experienced with data-driven decision making and strong data analysis.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
· Self-starter with a track record of achievement to tackle people-related projects.
· Experience in medical billing, healthcare, or subrogation industries is a plus
