Role Summary

The Technical Business Analyst aligns information technology systems and platforms with business strategy & operations by analyzing, interpreting, and developing innovative integrated software solutions. As an experienced and versatile business analyst on the technology team, this role will support and translate requirements to enhance our technological capability and application design.

Responsibilities

  • Partner in the assessment of existing systems and infrastructure to form a perspective of both present capabilities and future opportunities to key leadership and stakeholders.
  • Partner with Intellivo’s Product Owner and Solution Architect to define system changes and new features to accomplish desired business functionality.
  • Present detailed reports to leadership and stakeholders, including recommendations to seize opportunities for technological improvement.
  • Gather requirements and draft stories for selected product features.
  • Support IT project teams during implementation.
  • Ability to define success metrics for technological improvements and create diagnostics to ensure optimal system functionality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related technical field
  • 2 years of experience in healthcare and/or complex claims preferred
  • 2 years of experience in business administration or related discipline
  • 2 years of experience in technical business analysis or IT consultancy
  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages like SQL and system integration solutions
  • Ability to design and maintain efficient customer support and feedback channels
  • Maintains a pulse on technological advancements and best practices
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant licensing and industry compliance regulations
