Role Summary

Reporting to the VP of Business Strategy and Operations, the Client Services Director will develop and implement strategies to drive positive client outcomes, accelerate client growth opportunities, and secure relationship retention. This role will advise and support clients, offering solutions and tactics to help achieve their business goals while also increasing company revenue. This leader will develop strategic plans that align with client priorities and emphasize tools and services that can improve efficiency, streamline processes, or increase profits.

This position demands an in-depth understanding of the client’s business needs and challenges, and the ability to offer proactive solutions. This is a role that requires a high level of client attention and support via a variety of communication methods and may include frequent, regular meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Generate successful client outcomes measured by client engagement, expansion, and retention.
  • Maintain and cultivate a strong connection with the client, addressing their demands and concerns, and discovering opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Find growth possibilities, handle problems or challenges, and act as the client’s primary point of contact.
  • Ensure project members are sufficiently enabled to meet client expectations.
  • Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition.
  • Build and leverage relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage a full-life cycle partner process, while effectively leveraging internal resources.
  • Support, review processes, provide feedback and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Ensure performance improvement plans are developed and implemented when necessary.
  • Develop a plan to proactively secure timely contract renewals.
  • Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
  • Work closely with operational client services teams and lead strategic communication.
  • Align client landscape, competitive intelligence, and business needs with Intellivo’s capabilities and solution offerings, partnering with Sales and Marketing.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — sales, marketing, and customer success — to achieve client objectives and exceed expectations.

Qualifications

  • B.S/B.A required
  • Proven minimum of 7+ years of leadership experience in client support, sales, or related position.
  • Healthcare revenue cycle industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of relevant software and systems, such as current Client Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Ability to resolve issues independently.
  • General business knowledge
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
