National Channel Manager
BCM One
BCM One is actively seeking a National Channel Manager for our expanding sales team. This position will be at the forefront of our business growth, responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing new partners. A successful National Channel Manager will have a strong history of B2B sales, within telecommunications/Channel sales, in a commissioned sales environment. The right candidate will possess the ability to understand, explain, and articulate why a business owner (prospect) would benefit from a profitable new business venture.
BCM One offers a moderately complex set of products and services so National Channel Managers will have the creative ability to use an array of prospecting and sales techniques. You should have a proven track record of achieving quota through closing sales over the phone and/or via Web meetings with demonstrated success working in a metrics-based position.
Work Locations:
This position is not eligible for sponsorship or relocation. Candidates must live and work within the US, ideally within one of the regions below:
- Central US
- South Eastern US
- North Eastern US (ideally NYC Metro or New England area)
- West Coast US (ideally northern California)
Travel:
Travel will vary depending on client and business needs but is estimated at 25% annually.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for developing sales in the designated target market by identifying new sales opportunities by contacting prospective customers by cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments.
- Develops and implements actions to create additional opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend with the company. Assists in creating account plans and strategies to win new business from both new as well as existing customers.
- Develops and manages customer relationships for assigned accounts in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, retain existing revenue and attain additional business.
- Learns and develops further knowledge of new technologies and selling points which includes enhancing expertise in the company's product set.
- Provides accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Need:
- 10+ years in Telecommunications; Channel Experience preferred in collaboration with Cisco, Microsoft, and Distribution.
- At least 2 years of experience with Enterprise, large-scale global clients required.
- Strong prospecting skills with the ability to demonstrate a history of new logo wins.
- Experience in managing large multinational accounts.
- Experience in solution selling IP, data, and voice network services.
- Experience in strategic, technical, and business communications application sales.
- Experience with CRM and managing a robust funnel; SalesForce preferred.
- Strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction and ability to provide assistance to colleagues.
- Proficient in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Requires at least 50% or more of the time conducting sales activities outside of the office.
- Bachelor's degree in business, entrepreneurship, or marketing is strongly preferred.
