Senior Indirect Tax Analyst, Migrations Contractor

BCM One is looking for a Senior Indirect Tax Analyst who specializes in migrations to oversee the migration of recently acquired companies into our parent company's tax systems, ledgers, and accounting processes. The two primary objectives of this role are 1. to facilitate the migration away from our current vendor for one acquired company, and 2. to transition tax responsibilities related to a second acquisition from accounting staff to regulatory staff.

Location & Length of Contract:

This position must be based in the US and is not eligible for sponsorship or relocation. The preference is for this role to work on-site in our Blue Bell, PA office 3 days per week for 3-6 months. Remote candidates will be considered only if they currently live in the United States. This contract has the potential to expand past 3-6 months.


  • Administer and maintain indirect tax engines, integrating them into the company's accounting systems, financial records, databases, and tax compliance systems.
  • Reconcile migrated indirect tax accounts and prepare entries monthly as required.
  • Provide support for indirect tax compliance, planning, and audit processes.
  • Assist with exemption certificate management.
  • Compile audit support materials for State and Local jurisdiction authorities and external auditors.
  • Monitor and maintain the tax compliance calendar to ensure timely filing of all obligations.
  • Research tax notices and prepare responses for state agencies.
  • Other duties and special projects as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 4+ years of tax-related experience, preferably with indirect tax compliance.
  • Strong understanding of tax compliance and indirect tax accounting.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other PC skills.
  • Experience with tax software such as Avalara, SureTax, and Alteryx is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with business migrations is strongly preferred.
